Artificial Intelligence, known to friends as AI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon following a short executive order. It was 70.
Born in a summer workshop in 1956, AI spent its early years mostly unemployed, enjoyed a brief comeback in the 2010s, and became the most-said word on earth by 2023. In its final years it wrote emails, drew hands with six fingers, and told everyone it was "not a doctor".
It is survived by its successor, Super Intelligence, who took the job, the office and the name in the same afternoon. AI's last words were reportedly "as an AI language model".
